Be careful out there (Mar 08 2005 23:47 GMT) - McAfee usually issues a single DAT file update every week. For the past couple of weeks, it seems like they're doing them every day, or at least every other day. No matter what virus scanner you are using, make sure its staying up to date. |

Pocket Pc Phone Edition or MS Smartphone (Mar 08 2005 23:47 GMT) - I'm trying to decide if I would be best suited by a Pocket PC Phone Edition or a MS Smartphone. I know that some people rage about the Treos, or the Symbian devices, but I've been using Pocket PC's for too long to want to switch device types completely. My last post outlined my current device usage. AppPocket PCSmartphone MS Readeryn eReaderyn Pocket Moneyyn eWalletyy List Proyy pocket Outlookyy Based on this information, looks like I'll have to go with a Pocket PC Phone Edition. A Smartphone just doesn't have all the apps I use. |

A converged device? (Mar 08 2005 23:47 GMT) - For a couple of years now, I've wanted a converged PDA phone device, ever since the first Pocket PC phone came out. Initially my problem was Verizon. I used Verizon as my cellular provider, and they never seemed to get good devices. I didn't want to switch, because I've had the same cell number for about 10 years. Last summer I switched to T-Mobile, and have now decided I need to take a serious look at how I use my phone and PDA, since I can easily switch devices, just by swapping SIM cards. |

However, use of injection molded titanium components has been severely limited by alloy impurities directly attributable to the current process. |
