E.C.U. - Elite Combat Unicycle (Mar 10 2005 23:59 GMT) - It has been observed that a proportion of the enemy soldiers on realizing that they are under attack by soldiers on unicycles will cease their combat activities and stare in disbelief, they are then highly susceptible to return fire. Indeed, there are some unconfirmed reports of spontaneous 'enemy applause' with the appearance of E.C.U personnel during a firefight. |

Robotic Weblog (Mar 10 2005 23:59 GMT) - R. Robot -- who has passed an unofficial Turing Test a couple of times -- is a rhetoric simulator. He shuffles grammatical chunks into into thousands of loathesome new templates. He's a Perl CGI script, hooked up to a Movable Type engine for good measure -- making him the first blogger who is also a computer program (to the best of our knowledge.) |

The Gift of Life an Egg and Sperm 2 (Mar 10 2005 23:57 GMT) - Sherry F. Colb has a great break-down of the sperm theft trial I mentioned earlier in which Sharon Irons received sperm from Richard O. Phillips via oral sex which she then used to inseminate herself and conceive a child. Phillips sued for emotional distress and to be free of paternity obligations, but he was nonetheless ordered to pay $800 a month in child support. Ms. |
