Consumer electronic prices down 0.8% in January 2005 (Mar 31 2005 23:47 GMT) - January 2005 prices for consumer electronics dropped 0.8% from Dec 2004, according to NPD Consumer Electronics Price Watch. The price for a market basket of the 27 most popular electronics goods fell to $10,825 in January from December and, were over $2,500 below one year ago. The largest declines were for 42-inch plasma screen prices, which slipped 7.2% to $2,207, while 17-inch LCD monitors fell to $351, down 5. |

Ucvhost - Review (Mar 31 2005 23:45 GMT) - One client of mine insisted to try UCVhost web hosting company (ucvhost.com) for two of his sites, one was hosted on the linux plan and the other on the windows plan. He thought that one dollar per month for unlimited bandwidth and disk space was a great deal. Unfortunedly for him it was a nightmare. Uploading files via ftp was very buggy and the server kept disconnecting us, even with very few and small file transfers. |

Who is the Doctor? (Mar 31 2005 23:45 GMT) - So, after filming barely one season (and before us in the States have even gotten a legal look at the show), Christopher Eccleston is quitting as Doctor Who because he fears being typecast. Oh, come on! Back in the Eighties, Peter Davison kept his tenure as the Doctor brief for similar reasons. But for him, that was still a more reasonable three years!!! Why does Eccleston sound like he was taken by surprise? |
