In a study that tracked people from their early to mid 40s for an average of 27 years, researchers found a progressively higher risk of dementia that correlated to obesity levels at the start of the study. Sadly, the article then goes on to talk about the possibility of fish oils making things better, when you can get the same fatty acids from plant-based sources without the traces of brain-altering chemicals like mercury and other heavy metals found in most fish. |
