Just got back from the ... (Apr 30 2005 23:53 GMT) - Just got back from the Sage, Gateshead from a concert by Darrol Anger and Rushad Eggleston. One of the best concerts I have ever seen in my whole life. Eggleston is simply the most astonishing cello player I have ever seen. If you get the chance to see him, grab it. (Which is not to denigrate Darrol Anger who was amazing as well). |

Rick Tumlinson Gives A NASA Update (heh!) (Apr 30 2005 23:52 GMT) - (Rand can type faster than I can) Rick is giving an update on changes at NASA given his view from the roadmapping committee and other interactions. "We have good friends on the inside". Now there's a new Administrator and some of the people he's bringing in are of the O'Neillean point of view. (Personally I find the O'Niel, Sagan, von Braun distinction insufficient due to O'Niel never getting into economics.) Lots of people at NASA are satisfied just being part of space. |
