I've definately got out of bed the wrong side... (May 04 2005 15:59 GMT) - I'm quite irritablt today and I'm not sure why. I think it is probably the weather. OTOH I've been making some progress on the Big Thesis Infrastructure which was mostly finding a way to convert SVGs to PDFs. After much Googling I gave up and wrote my own utility based on Cairo and libsvg. It works for my needs. |

Tapwave Gives Up on Zodiac (May 04 2005 15:59 GMT) - Tapwave, the makers of the PalmOS-based Zodiac handheld gaming PDA, have announced—essentially&md the platform is on its way out. The company still stands and will be working to do co-branded products with other companies, whatever that entails. You should probably just go read their statement yourselves. It almost sounds like they'll be helping people build PSP titles, to me. |

Here in Canada there is a pharmacy chain, Jean Coutu, that uses in its promotion the idea that you can also find a friend there in your pharmacist. It isn't just publicity. I've found invariably the pharmacist does take a personal interest in his or her customers. That's not true of some of the other pharmacy chains we have here. |
