Flash is Ajax, or Flash versus Ajax, at the Ajax Summit (May 12 2005 23:59 GMT) - One of the more interesting debates at the Ajax Summit this week concerned Flash and its relationship to or inclusion in Ajax. The discussion was more interesting because of the Flash demo that Kevin Lynch (CTO of Macromedia, the makers of Flash) gave on the first day -- and maybe also simply because he was there at the table. |

Cheapo Laptop Carrier (May 12 2005 23:59 GMT) - ... Here's a pretty neat idea- inflatable laptop bags. Next visit to the mega-mart I'll look for something cheap to make one out of clear plastic and then just inflate the whole thing while I'm traveling to expedite my trip through security. MDEC Fantastic! (May 12 2005 23:59 GMT) - MDEC has been the best conference I have ever attended, access to the CE, Embedded and Mobile teams has been extraordinary! I meet them at breakfast, at lunch in the cabana and in the experts area, they couldn't be nicer. The Tablet PC people are here as well searching for feedback and advice from the community and the best advice I had for them was to get Tablet's into the hands of bloggers! |
