A Cure For Safari Annoyances (May 12 2005 16:59 GMT) - Goofing around on MacUpdate I discovered a great little utility that puts a lid on two of Safari's most annoying behaviours: closing multi-tab windows without warning, and -- new in Tiger -- the warning that you are downloading applications. The latter is most egregious in my book, primarily because you can't deactivate the warning. The application is called Taboo, and while I won't be installing it on my parents' Mac, I'll happily continue using it to make my browsing experience a little smoother. Note: |
