- Well, it took four months, but one our new 20" iMac G5's died today. It's exhibiting the same symptoms as so many other iMac G5's purchased shortly after their release--random shutdowns, video glitches, and then failure to start up. Next week, I'll take it apart and I'm sure I'll find the leaking or bulging capacitors so many people have described. I'm normally not one to harp on Apple, but it seems that it's time for a recall.
