- Interesting....Do you have Voicemail enabled? If not you might want to enable it to test if it routes to vm when busy. Since you don't have call forward enabled, it does sound like the system believes you do. You might also want to enable call forward, test that it works, then disable to see if that doesn't clear up the problem. |

- I bought my PAP2 at Best Buy. I came straight home and did a retail activation. I was up and running less than 15 minutes after opening the box. I have had Roadrunner and a WRT54G since September 2003. I have had ZERO problems. |

- Hi all. Now that I've had voip on my personal line for a while, I'm considering porting my business number over. One thing that helped me along is the fact that now the number can still be listed in the original carrier's (Verizon's) white pages. I already know that my number can be transferred, but I wondered about the capability of porting a toll-free number. For years I've also had a Verizon 888 number for customers of mine who would otherwise pay a toll calling me. |

- Hmmm. It could be of good intention, but at first read it makes me think that some marketing service has found a glorious loophole around the Do Not Call registry. Once you are a customer or signed up with a company they can ring your phone off the hook legally. Verizon taught me that fact. But, it might be a great service for someone who wants to be found, especially businesses. |

- It supposed to goto the local/nearest call center, in my case, the Wright county Sheriff's Department, at least it does for 5 of my neighbors that uses Vonage when they call 911. But, when I call it it goes to a Yellow Medicine county sheriffs department 122 miles away. I live in Wright County, Minnesota. Thanks |

- Your vonage line shouldn't go to a police station in the first place. It supposed to go to an emergency control center, I know in New York every county has one. I believe that's the stanard around the entire country. An emergency control center is where they dispatch all the counties police, fire and EMS agencies. I personally haven't tried dailing 911 on my vonage line yet, as we have an old 7 digit fire department number that routes to our counties 911 center. |
