Thrice, As I Lay Dying, Atreyu, Story Of The Year, Funeral For A Friend added to Taste of Chaos 2006 (Oct 29 2005 19:59 GMT) - More bands have been confirmed for 2006's Taste of Chaos Tour. Joining previously announced headliners, The Deftones will be As I Lay Dying, Atreyu, Thrice, and Story of the Year. The first half of the tour will feature Funeral for a Friend. It is expected to begin in mid-February, with dates running through the first week of April.. The Taste of Chaos tour, organized by Warped Tour founder Kevin Lyman will soon complete their first year of shows. |

Bad Religion's "Live at the Palladium" has official release date (Oct 29 2005 19:59 GMT) - A number of readers wrote in with the news that Bad Religion's long awaited live DVD, Live at the Palladium finally has an official release date. Early reports had the DVD released in January 2006, but the date from Epitaph's official page for the DVD now has the date set for February 20th, 2006 in Europe and February 21st in North America. The label, owned by Bad Religion guitarist Brett Gurewitz, also revealed some more information about the disc. Besides the promised live footage shot over two nights at the Hollywood Palladium, the disc will include rare content such as an acoustic piano version of "Cease," in-depth interviews with all current band members discussing the bandıs formation, evolution and career. Also featured is never-before-seen live footage from the New Wave Theatre from the 1981-1983 lineup of the influential punk pioneers. |

Fight Paris will be supporting their Trustkill debut, Paradise Found, The Esoteric, their Prosthetic debut, Wth the Sureness of Sleepwalking. Tourmates Calico System and Scarlet will promote forthcoming releases, They Live and This Was Always Meant To Fall Apart respectively. |

Brand New Disaster (2000-2005) (Oct 29 2005 19:59 GMT) - Richmond/Harrisburg, VA-based Tribunal Records act Brand New Disaster has called it quits. The band posted the following on their website: [It] has nothing to do with fighting or disagreements. We've always been on the best of terms and we're leaving on them too. If I could sum up the reasons in one short sentence, i'd say that "real life" and being in a band have a way of directly colliding with each other on a regular basis. |

Tours: Bullet For My Valentine touring the US in November, headlining tour of the UK (Oct 29 2005 19:59 GMT) - Welsh act Bullet for My Valentine have announced the dates for their first ever US tour. The band will be supporting the recent Trustkill release of their Bullet For My Valentine EP. The disc was originally released overseas by Visible Noise. The band will be joined by It Dies Today, Sinai Beach and Still Remains. Following this tour, the band will head back to the UK to headline the Kerrang Rock Tour with support from Avenged Sevenfold. |

First track from upcoming Bullets and Octane record, latest dates (Oct 29 2005 19:59 GMT) - Bullets and Octane have posted the first song from their upcoming RCA Records debut. The album is the follow up to The Revelry and is expected in April. It was produced by Page Hamilton (Helmet) and mixed by Ken Andrews (Failure, ON, Year Of The Rabbit).
