Portrait (Nov 10 2005 23:59 GMT) - I named this picture portrait because it is my first attempt at joining the latest hype of photoblogging - portraits of strangers on the street. This girl was in Camden, and I noticed that she was walking around us for the whole morning. I initially thought she probably was a shy photoblogger from London (not that she looks the shy type) and was quite keen to find out. Towards the end of the day and while we were convening outside a pub to decide where to drink our beers, the girl came and sat next to us leaning on the wall of the pub. I went and asked her if she was into photography or was there randomly (you would guess she has something to do with photography carrying this kit), but unfortunately she did not speak English or Greek or French. |

Canadians want an election when the Liberals want an election (Nov 10 2005 23:59 GMT) - When the Liberals forced an election on Canadians last spring there were no polls commissioned to find out how Canadians felt about the prospect. There were no CTV news stories questioning the timing of an election so close to Father's Day. There were no protests in the Lithuanian community because the Lithuanian finance minister had to cancel his scheduled visit. Nope. When the Liberals want an election everything is hunky dory. |

Vonage - My Vonage Experience - Everett Washington (Nov 10 2005 23:59 GMT) - Greetings, Just received my Vonage equipment last week and was pretty impressed with the quality of service and the dedication of the CS department in handling issues in a timely, and professional manner. We had issues during the initial ordering of our service due to our debit card not being authorized by the bank even though we had more then enough money under our account. I had called Vonage expecting the classic CSR reponse "Please call the bank and determine if their are appropriate funds" etc etc. |
