eZ Components and PEAR (Dec 02 2005 01:59 GMT) - Finally we managed to release a first beta of eZ systems' new open source product eZ components. As I'm part of the development team, it's a great pleasure for me to see our work becoming ready after all. The project went quite good from my viewpoint, although it was a bit hard to manage work and university in paralell after the great summer vacation time (we have around 2-3 month of free time here). Some people asked me recently, how I see the eZ components compete with PEAR? My usual answer here is in only very few parts. |

India Vs Pakistan From Janaury 5th (Dec 02 2005 01:58 GMT) - The Pakistan board has announced that the Indian tour, the second time in three years, would start in the first week of January next year. The starting date of the series, which will comprise three Tests and five one-dayers, wasn't yet finalised but it is scheduled to finish on February 15. Unlike the earlier tour last year, where India refused to play Tests in Karachi and Peshawar owing to security reasons, Altaf said that there might be a proviso this time around. "We should remember," |

December Clifton Hill Resorts Update (Dec 02 2005 01:58 GMT) - Tonight I received the December issue of the Clifton Hill Resorts Update newsletter: It is a very repetitive newsletter, often containing much of what the previous one had in it, but with some dates changed. It is still a nice newsletter, but it would be good if they could provide more information about what's going on in the area. If you want subscribe, visit http://www. |

Upcoming Plans The Thompson ... (Dec 02 2005 01:58 GMT) - Upcoming Plans The Thompson turkey has a special dressing, but the technique of building a crust with a flour paste is what makes it stand out. En croute itself is nothing new, but paining on the shell is unique. Not for long. I bought the butt portion of a ham that I found on sale and plan to prepare it in the same manner this weekend. |
