(Dec 14 2005 03:58 GMT) - Ezra makes an interesting point - that Lieberman may not be so much in thrall to the Republicans as in reaction against his own party, where a goodly number of people roundly loathe him.That said, I'd really like to see a party breakdown of the poll he cites which says that Lieberman is the eighth most popular senator. I'd also like to see how many of the respondents were from Connecticut, a northeastern blue state where the president Mr. Lieberman loves so well has just attempted to cripple the economy by shutting down the naval base a fair number of local businesses depend on.I'd also like to point out that Mr. |
