Watch your rights because it's a Bush-Bush-Bush world (Dec 16 2005 23:47 GMT) - It was a busy week in Bush-land, and I just wanted to cover some of the higher level points. Bush takes responsibility for Iraqi intelligence The issue I have with this is that wasn't that the intelligence wasn't bad (it was bad, and seeming everyone knows it), but that GeeDub and company knew it was bad, incorrect, wrong, a flat out lie, and used it anyways. In previous presidential administrations, there was supposed evidence that Saddam Hussein and his co-horts were developing weapons you wouldn't find down at your local Army-Navy store, but some reason could never find the positive proof that, yes, that is chemical weapons or that he was developing nuclear weapons. Then came that one guy that gave up the farm, telling everyone that Saddam had everything in spades, and was thinking of opening up a Wal-mart style chemical weapons store. Of course, “ |

In Phoenix (Dec 16 2005 23:46 GMT) - I'm in Phoenix through this weekend for work, and unfortunately, I've had a ton of computer problems. My laptop keeps giving me harddisk errors, and now my gallery won't let me upload any photos. It's been a good trip otherwise. Phoenix is gorgeous - sunny and warm. The plants are still green and flowering, and today, I took a lunchtime hike in a nearby park. |
