Sacred Stage (Dec 19 2005 16:57 GMT) - Rent It The Film: The Mariinsky Theater, also known as the Kirov Opera, is without a doubt one of the few cultural landmarks from the former Soviet Union that needs absolutely no introduction whatsoever. A remarkable symbol of Russian culture the Mariinsky Theater survived the notorious 900-day siege of Saint Petersburg (former Leningrad) as well as the collapse of the Soviet Union which nearly put an end to one of the most distinguished opera houses in the world. With a massive 1625-seat auditorium the Mariinsky Theater was built to symbolize Russia's return to Europe and of course for a long period of time the enormous wealth of the Romanoff dynasty. After the Soviet Revolution in 1917 until the collapse of the Soviet Union in the early 1990s the Mariinsky Theater hosted some of the greatest ballet dancers of our time such as Rydolph Nureyev, Mikha... |

Power Rangers SPD - Boom (Dec 19 2005 16:57 GMT) - Recommended The Movie: The Power Rangers are a true phenomenon of children's entertainment. What started out as a cheesy kids' show with bad action sequences has turned into a multi-million dollar industry with a true cult following. The original kids this show was aimed at are now in college which just goes to show what some clever marketing will do. When the original Mighty Morphin Power Rangers show aired, much like the Cabbage Patch doll craze, there was a shortage of action figures, which caused panic among parents everywhere and brought even more visibility to the show. |

Total Romance:Ultimate Games (Dec 19 2005 16:57 GMT) - Skip It The Movie: The idea of erotic films aimed at women is not a new one, and it is always an intriguing proposition. As our good friends, sex researchers Masters & Johnson, have demonstrated, women can be aroused by porn just as easily as men, although they may be more reluctant to admit it. Films of this nature for women have several requirements that distinguish them from those aimed at men. |

Once the revenues start to flow, it'll behoove you to show your appreciation for him in the form of $.True, there is a difference in media - but I also have a hard time explaining that difference to potential advertisers. |

Chirac Touts Actress for 'DaVinci Code' (Dec 19 2005 16:56 GMT) - Filmmaker Ron Howard says that the upcoming movie based on Dan Brown's mega-hit novel "The Da Vinci Code" will not soften the story's more controversial elements. There will be "no placating," he tells Newsweek in its annual "Who's Next" double issue, which names the up-and-comers in politics, business, science, sports and the arts that will make headlines in 2006. "It would be ludicrous to take on this subject and then try to take the edges off. We're doing this movie because we like the book," he says. Since "The Da Vinci Code" was published in 2003, the book has become a global industry, spawning everything from critical documentaries to reverential bus tours. |

Frightening: Opening for Terror-Sympathizer Brian Moskowitz to Head *ICE (*New INS) National Security (Dec 19 2005 16:56 GMT) - The prospect of Moskowitz in this position, for the many reasons enumerated in great detail on this site, is frightening. Moskowitz, the ambitious but spineless, incompetent, and unethical Special Agent in Charge of ICE for Michigan and Ohio (the heart of Islamic America), has shirked his responsibility in national security matters in his current position. As we've detailed, Moskowitz has maintained a close relationship with "former" Islamic terrorist Imad Hamad (who is also an FBI award revokee), enlisted Hamad in new agent recruitment, pressured ICE recruiters to hire Hamad's nephew/associate, shut down investigations into Islamic charities laundering money to HAMAS and Iraqi insurgents, prohibited agents from conducting assorted investigations into Islamic illegal immigration, smuggling, and money-laundering, etc., etc., ad absurdum. |
