I have a Hewlett-Packard XP Media Center PC which was running just fine until I recently applied an update called 'Rollup 2' which at first looked as though it offered improvements to the interface. I found out all was far from good when I tried to record a TV show and afterwards discovered the picture was just fine but the sound was horribly distorted. It sounds like someone has recorded a Korn gig at full volume and then upped the volume just that little bit beyond top whack to make it that little bit more thrashy.
