Catching Up (Dec 22 2005 05:44 GMT) - Somehow I only get about 3 hours free each month and I use that time to fix up my web site and post a few photos around the internet...this being one of those places. So here's a quick short and sweet version about a few highlights from the past month or two :-) There was a really nice sunset in phoenix a few weeks ago. A couple of weeks ago we went to a small but expanding park called Out of Africa with all sorts of animals native to Africa. |

Bloody Holy War! The Price of Free Speech (Dec 22 2005 05:44 GMT) - L.A.-based filmmaker/blogger Brian Flemming has caught all kinds of fire, brimstone, ink and pixels for his controversial film The God Who Wasn't There. Being an ex-fundamentalist isn't any more scary than being, say, an ex-Scientologist (heh), but Flemming took his agnosticism one step farther and produced a movie that argues there was no Jesus Christ. Predictably, vengeance-hungry wingnuts came out of the woodwork along with honestly offended Christians. |

Gmail notifier, GoogleTalk, multiple browsers/browser windows - sometimes it's just not enough or just too much. Well, tonight I found an awesome solution: The Gmail Manager extension for Firefox. You can place it in the status bar, the menu bar, the personal toolbar. |

Re: Cthulhu the movie (Dec 22 2005 05:41 GMT) - henry VIII? Is this the esteem'd Henry Vester III? Or perhaps the shade of King Henry the VIII? Either way this is an auspicious occasion as I'm fairly certain this would be the first post from either of these notables on the Eldritch Dark. I'll have to look up the website you've mentioned as I'm not really familiar with this movie trailer, but in the meanwhile a hearty 'welcome aboard' goes out to Henry Vester, a true devotee of CAS if there ever was one! |
