THE BILLIONAIRE THAT NEVER WAS A long time ago I... (Dec 22 2005 05:24 GMT) - THE BILLIONAIRE THAT NEVER WASA long time ago I read an interview of Daisuke Inoue (Osakan inventor of the karaoke machine, which he failed to patent), in which when asked if he regretted the loss of all the billions that never came to him as a result, he replied that it was better he never had all that money, because he would have lost it for sure, and that would have been worse. Can't find that interview, but here's a good take on a very interesting character (who, in my opinion, did not deserve the Ig Nobel Prize, though characteristically he enjoyed receiving it). |
