Re: How can I (Dec 23 2005 06:56 GMT) - The problem for a newbie is that if you don't know the terminology then the help files and search functions do little good. How would somebody with no Acrobat knowledge know to look under 'text fields' or 'read only' when what they want to do is draw a black box? I searched under terms I thought relevant, but obviously they weren't. As for blacking them out before scanning - that isn't ... |

No Topic (Dec 23 2005 06:56 GMT) - I am a webmaster and each day I upload a pdf onto my site for users to download. For a few years this has worked like clockwork but I have recently had an email from a user who says that each time he attempts to download the pdf he receives a 'the file is damaged and cannot be repaired' message. I presume the error is at his end but can anyone suggest what ... |

RE: How can I (Dec 23 2005 06:56 GMT) - YIKES! $350 to draw a black box over text. The information I am hidding is not top secret. It actually comes from a public document available to anyone. I just prefer to take out the addresses so people don't send them junk mail. |

Al-Jazeera accused of being Israeli pawn (Dec 23 2005 06:54 GMT) - To keep us all from laughing out loud and to enlighten the fact that "You just can't please everybody"... it seems that once again, for airing opinions of different groups in order to gain a balanced view... everybody is against Al-Jazeera... They are either considered an Al-Qaeda Platform by the West, and the Israeli-controlled propaganda agent by the East. Is there a market left for hard-core, honest journalism? |
