For me, the book was reminiscent of a broader Chariots of the Gods (not surprising, since that book's author, Erich Von Daniken, contributes an essay). The essays are often backed with scientific data and arguments, and though I don't agree with all the hypotheses presented, the book did make me think and stimulated several conversations.
