Imágenes sirven para instalar spyware en Windows (Dec 29 2005 14:59 GMT) - Una nueva vulnerabilidad en Windows permite que ciertos sitios instalen spyware en los computadores que corren el popular sistema operativo. La falla aprovecha un tipo de archivo de imagen llamados Windows Metafiles. La falencia se centra en la forma en que el sistema operativo de Windows maneja los archivos .wmf, los cuales contienen información vectorial y bitmap y donde es posible esconder código malicioso, el cual puede ser enviado en un email o bajado desde un sitio web. Las versiones afectadas incluyen a Windows XP, ME, 2000 y Windows Microsoft Windows Server 2003. |
