Scary? Nah, He's Sweet! (Jan 24 2006 17:29 GMT) - As y'all know, I've been looking forward to last night for a LONG time. We went to see Adam Morrison and the 7th ranked Gonzaga Bulldogs take on USF. Just a little background, we LOVE Adam because he has the same type of Diabetes our son has, takes care of it very responsibly, checking his blood sugars several times per game, and oh yeah--BEING THE #1 COLLEGE BASKETBALL PLAYER IN THE NATION. We got there VERY early, and watched the players practice for awhile. This was maybe an hour and a half before tipoff and there weren't many fans there at all. |

Samba 4.0.0TP1 Released (Jan 24 2006 17:27 GMT) - "Samba 4 is the ambitious next version of the Samba suite that is being developed in parallel to the stable 3.0 series. The main emphasis in this branch is support for the Active Directory logon protocols used by Windows 2000 and above. With 3 years of development under our belt since Tridge first proposed a new Virtual File System layer for Samba3 (a project which eventually lead to our Active Directory efforts), it was felt that we should create something we could 'show off' to our users. This is a Technology Preview (TP), aimed at allowing users, managers and developers to see how we have progressed, and to invite feedback and support. |
