- My transition to Ubuntu is going well, but here's a few things which irritate me: The devices for the synaptic touchpad and the usb mouse switch places depending on if the usb mouse is connected at boot time (and after waking up from sleeping). This messes things up majorly... My only solution right now is to disconnect the usb mouse before boot, and likewise, remove it from the laptop just before waking up again from sleep-state.
