Tied up in Knots of comedy (Feb 27 2006 23:59 GMT) - Bug-eyed, fish-lipped, perpetually balding, virtually chinless, with a protruding Adam's apple that, when aroused, sometimes threatened to eclipse his entire head ... Don Knotts was the living embodiment of the scrawny, sputtering 98-pound weakling. |

Vonage - Comcast vs. Vonage (Feb 27 2006 23:59 GMT) - My 2 cents. As a new user to Vonage who has experienced frustration upon frutration over the past 2 weeks with poor call quality I have reached my limit!! I believe their might be a conspisracy but I have no proof--I called Comcast out on that and they said that it is a felony to mess with people's line which I know is true. But it is oddly coincidental that my problems seemed to start happening around the time Comcast tried to sell me THEIR phone service and I said I had Vonage. Regardless my phone life has been hell since. |

Vonage - Linksys RT31P2 Dropped Calls (Feb 27 2006 23:59 GMT) - Would it be possible for you to take one of the RT31P2's to someplace where you can connect thru a different ISP? Like thru your high speed cable connection at home. If the problem goes away, then you will have pretty much eliminated Vonage service and the routers as causes of the problem. And if keeping Vonage is a priority, you might then consider getting high speed cable at work and bypassing all the DSL "ka-ka". |

Vonage - Virtual Numbers and voicemail (Feb 27 2006 23:59 GMT) - I think the question is, can his virtual number go to VM and his main number ring his telephone. If this is the actual question, the answer is no. The virtual number does the same as your regular number. The virtual number will ring where the system is set. In short, the virtual number is just another way of ringing your regular VONAGE number. |

Vonage - call forwarding, voicemail precedence (Feb 27 2006 23:59 GMT) - ... may miss a call on the cell if you are in a bad area ... I have not tested this, but I think that even with simulring, the cell company is still going to answer with the "out of range" message and my Vonage VM will never see the call. I don't have any VM on my cell, so that's not an issue for me. |

He signed the major documents of the founding of the U.S. including the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution. Maybe you know him as an inventor, or as a scientist who flew kites in lightning storms, or as a writer and printing press operator. |

Don't Get Stampeded By The 7.1 Parade (Feb 27 2006 23:57 GMT) - As a home theater tech critic, I spend much of my time evangelizing for surround sound. I do it unashamedly and with all my heart. I love surround sound and I want everyone else to get as much pleasure from it as I do. But I worry that a lot of people still waiting to dip a toe in the sound-field are turned off by a bunch of seemingly conflicting numbers: 5. |
