Re: First Night Shade CAS book turned in!!! (Feb 28 2006 23:45 GMT) - This is exciting. Any idea when it will be released? It also looks like you can once again place subscription orders for these books on the Nightshade website. I already have my subscription ordered but my brother and some friends missed out and would jump at the chance to order a subscription.....so is that an error on the website or no? |

Personal Ticket Tracking System for Admins? (Feb 28 2006 23:45 GMT) - sirfunk asks: "I am a student and part-time system admin for a few local businesses. Most of the businesses I work for do not have me come in regularly, I'm sort of on a on-call, fix-it-when-it-breaks schedule. I'm wondering if anyone out there has come across a personal ticket-tracking system, that would allow my businesses to submit tickets with their problems and priority. The primary requirement would be that the user interface (for my businesses) would be very simple. |

Joining Your Online and Offline Lives (Feb 28 2006 23:43 GMT) - The Escapist this week is running an article entitled Anonymity is not Enough. The article explores the increasing overlap between online and offline lives. From the article: "Freed from accountability for their actions, some players seek to experiment with the more annoying sides of their online identities, becoming in-game griefers or forum trolls. On a more serious level, some use the protection of the screen to pull off scams that can cost unsuspecting players real money, or to stalk other players online (and sometimes offline as well). |

Ask.com relaunch (Feb 28 2006 23:42 GMT) - So, after Bary Diller spoke at SES, a lot of attention has been on the newly relaunched and rebranded Ask.
