- I put together a golf picture of the day photo blog After getting that camera I now have so many great golf pictures to show everyone but some of them just don t have anywhere to fit on the website I do have places in the sections for the Pictures of the pro golfers that I took Pictures of the Golf Courses I Play A spot for The pictures of Riviera Country Club and some pictures even found their way onto the ghost town Golf Companies Reviews part of the website But where am I supposed to put a picture like this No cracks I meant to say what should I do with a picture like this All right that phrasing doesn t quite work either How about I have some uncategorized golf pictures just sitting here and would love it if people could see them Why do I even take pictures like this in the first place I know that I m no InstaMarv with teh mad photography skillz Well for example this picture I took because I ve never seen a quiet please sign up close before and snapped a shot of it as I was walking by Thanks to my fancy camera though even a snapshot like this looks all artwork dramatic storytelling when you see the picture fullsize Lately I ve had my screensaver rotating through my images folder and I m telling you that having a 1000 randomized golf pictures as your screensaver is awesome I thought how cool it would be if some of you could at least see the pictures that won t make it onto the website Not all of them are fantastic though Some of the pictures definitely show my weakness as such a noob point and shoot picture taker WEAKNESS Uh well no no I meant lesser strength a lesser strength GET OUT OF MY EYELINE Anyway I figured that since I have all these extra pictures that didn t get to go to the party that I would have some fun and get some use out of them So I put together one of those artsy photoblogs and preloaded it with around 100 pictures A golf picture of the day for the next 4 months Pictures are all 1024 x 768 full size If that is the size of your monitor feel free to right click and save one of these pictures to use as a desktop wallpaper You may have already seen the first few backdated pictures because I just threw in some as placeholders while I designed it But overall these are all unseen pictures Actually if you go to the photo blog at 10 01 pm pacific time you will be the first person to ever see that day s picture well other than me I still have to webdesign the photoblog pages to look all cool and slick Right now they look like they were built old skool in the 90 s but since the pictures are there and the backend to it seems to work it might be a little early but I thought there is no reason why Eat s blog readers couldn t get a sneak peek Don t worry though I ll eventually slick it up real nice so it looks like a pro style photographyish website The non repeat pictures will start on Tuesday I decided to put up a pic of Geoff Oglivy for today s POTD cause chances are you haven t seen that pic yet anyway My image folder really would make an awesome screensaver Throw out the blurry ones and slap the other 500 or a 1000 fullsize pictures onto a CD and then sell it online as a golf screensaver to the photoblog lookie lou peeps for like ten or 20 bucks ea hmmm thinking |
