BWL and having fun :) (Nov 06 2006 23:59 GMT) - I thought a bit about this today---BWL and participation. I think the raid leaders spend time and a lot of planning in trying to assure success in this area. I was there for the first successful time and it was thrilling. Possibly when a planned raid goes and has finished there attempts, you could have a couple of attempts with a substitution raid. ie. |

we got to get organized... (Nov 06 2006 23:58 GMT) - Now I've never played an RPG in MP mode, or co-op mode... but I imagine it needs to be ran the same way as any squad shooter. DVD Review: Bubba Ho-Tep (Nov 06 2006 23:57 GMT) - Poor Zombos. Another birthday has come and gone, another year much older. He is now at that nonretractable age where the over-the-hill birthday cards are no longer funny no matter how many humanized monkeys, sun-glassed grandmas, scantily-clad woman, and you're-not-over-the-hill jokes grace them. The poor fellow is tumbling down that hill at this point. |

Wave and Anti-Wave (Nov 06 2006 23:56 GMT) - One of the intriguing themes of this election is that there's a wave, and the size of the wave (along with the strength of the GOP defenses) will determine the size of the D House majority. One of the "wave" pundits is Charlie Cook, one of the most respected of the non-partisan election prognosticators. Cook's website is here and despite the recent poll tightening (blogged below, and supplemented by Fox at +13 and CNN for +20), Cook is sticking to his guns. |

Concert Review: The Decemberists (Nov 06 2006 23:53 GMT) - This may be a pet peeve of mine, but I need to declare that I hate it when bands pretend to be something they’re not, especially during live performances. My irritation factor regarding this issue peaked to new levels following the Decemberists' concert at the Hammerstein Ballroom last Friday. After listening to the band’ |
