- In the past year or so I have fallen into a situation where I have a lot of debt and not much money to pay it all. I have made some of the usual mistakes like payday loans, and I have signed on with a credit settlement company. My worry is being arrested or having to go to court. I worry because of the missed payments, bounced checks and overdrawn checking account thats been closed. I am talking to my creditors and trying to pay all that I can, I'm not ignoring their calls or anything. |

- I was able to successfully have one remove, however I recently pulled up my credit report and I have the same company Midland double charge on my credit for the same amount, a cell phone carrier with a wrong amount and a credit card company that I stopped using since 1993. They have not responded in accordance except to request more information from me and nothing to say what authority they have to collect. The 30 day period has passed since they recieved the letter. |

Scientists at the Max Planck Institute for Medical Research in Heidelberg have been investigating how memories might be consolidated. Their new study offers the hitherto strongest proof that new information is transferred between the hippocampus, the short term memory area, and the cerebral cortex during sleep. According to their findings and contrary to previous assumptions, the cerebral cortex actively controls this transfer.
