Jeff Bingaman Slips on Oil (Dec 09 2006 23:51 GMT) - The items that Nancy Pelosi has loaded into the First 100 Hours of the Democratic congress aren't just issues that have long had Democratic backing, but those which enjoy broad popular support. Raising the minimum wage, cutting the rate on student loans, and implementing the suggestions of the 9/11 commission are items that not only make sense, but make it clear the 109th Congress has divided it's time between sleeping and working for their corporate overseers. But if the first three items on the list enjoy strong support, so does item 4 -- rolling back new subsidies and tax breaks given to the oil industry over the last six years. |

BONO'S 'PARENT' TRACK (Dec 09 2006 23:47 GMT) - IRISH ROCKER WANTS PIECE OF TIME INC. MAG EMPIRE BONO December 6, 2006 ? TEN companies are still circling the 18 Time Inc. titles that have been put on the block - and there are lots of surprises in the mix. Perhaps the biggest is that U2 front man Bono is in the hunt. |

OV Slimming Club Part 4! (by: fiona) (Dec 09 2006 23:46 GMT) - Karen I cannot believe how your Lily can do so much, mine will get into their food cupboard if it is left open (it is a large pull out drawer larder unit with tins of vetzymes etc on the bottom, tinned food and a bag of meal on the next, and more dog food and the all important chews and gravy bones on the 3rd one, ie out of nose range! I soon learnt anything left at their level gets scoffed!) But they are far too stupid to open a door except by barging into it. Our cat had mastered the act of opening more or less any door, and he would certainly get at anything he wanted to eat! Funny thing is no sooner had the children finally got old enough to let me go to the loo on my own, then the dog or cat would barge open the door! |

Nintendo Wii (by: Kazzie) (Dec 09 2006 23:46 GMT) - My son got his from Game, which he had obviously pre-ordered. He reckons that they are the shop that has great dealings with the major companies like Nintendo etc. so they seem to get the majority quota of the new games consoles. Karen |

The Palms at Lake Davenport (by: Kazzie) (Dec 09 2006 23:46 GMT) - Hi Donald, I own a villa on The Palms at Lake Davenport Estates. The community is a mixture of short term rental and residential homes, all really well maintained. It is a really peaceful community but is also within easy reach of shops, restaurants, fast food outlets and banks etc. It is a very short drive to the Disney theme parks too, especially using the short cut route. There is also a community swimming pool, basketball courts, tennis courts and childrens play area. |

Swim wear (by: LL) (Dec 09 2006 23:46 GMT) - Swim wear definitely seems to be way more expensive and more difficult to find in Florida which seems starnge considering they have the better weather and all those water parks. Its the one thing we always take with us. |
