Weird Speedo problem (Dec 11 2006 23:28 GMT) - Well I'm aware of the ABS/speed sensor on the rear axle causing the speedo and the ABS lights to come on.....but this morning I had something weird happen that I've never seen before. On my way to work this morning I noticed that my speedo wasn't working. Usually when the speed sensor goes south it doesn't work till about 35mph and then kicks back on.........well this didn't work even at 65mph. |

Kan Windows XP udløbe? (Dec 11 2006 23:26 GMT) - Jeg har formateret min computer, og kan nu ikke opdatere windows. Jeg har Windows XP (SP 1), fra 2001. På intet tidspunkt beder den mig om at aktivere windows, og kan ikke gå ind og gøre det under systemværktøjer. Når jeg prøver at opdatere windows, kommer den med de samme 4 opdateringer hver gang. Den gør som om de er installeret fint, men de bliver bare ved med at komme frem som det eneste. |

The Dutch Go Digital (Dec 11 2006 23:26 GMT) - The Netherlands have become the first nation to switch completely from analog to digital television signals. The switch happened last night around midnight but only affected around 74,000 households, according to the Associated Press. The majority of the Netherlands, a country with a population of 16 million, already has cable, satellite, digital terrestrial, or IPTV. KPN and Tele2 are both IPTV providers in the Netherlands. |

Anybody ever play with thermite? (Dec 11 2006 23:25 GMT) - Now, according to my knowledge of chemistry, aluminum powder mixed with iron rust and lit with a magnesium fuse will create molten iron. Needless to say, this is something that needs to be done. Aluminum powder is easy to get, but what about iron oxide? Does anybody know where I could get me some iron oxide? (Like, some pure Grade-A professional iron oxide, not the stuff scraped off my exhaust manifold... |
