Bristol: A Mercure Hotel Opens in Bristol (Dec 14 2006 01:51 GMT) - Bristol's Brigstow Hotel has been taken over by Accor (who own Novotel and Sofitel), who've made it into Britain's second Mercure Hotel. It's a four-star boutique hotel right on the Avon River and is within walking distance of the main train station (five or fifteen minutes, depending on which website you believe). Typically for Novotel's small brother brand, it's meant to have its own special atmosphere without being overwhelming in either luxury or price. If you're hitting Bristol then the new Mercure's location is pretty useful. It's directly on the river in the Welsh Back area--which is more in the middle of things than the name sounds. |

Think DeGrassi High but with singing and dancing and minus "serious" issues. The movie was so popular Disney channel had to air it several more times and the soundtrack was #1 on the charts and iTunes for like a year.Anyways, it looks like hotels are starting to catch on to this "HSM" craze, starting with the The |

Levels of Hell (Dec 14 2006 01:49 GMT) - Bad parents suck. Which one of these two situations calls for a deeper banishment in hell? Should it be the mother from Arizona who leaves her 2-yr old in the car with the valet, but brings her dog into the mall? Or should it be the parents from Louisiana who slept through their 6-wk old puppy chewing off their month-old baby's toes? |
