Thread: 110296519716467301. Post by Raphael (Dec 17 2006 12:53 GMT) - Ah, What one would give to be a "Turner Prize winner"... How is an "art" that has lasted longer than several of the most important "movements" in history combined chronologically somehow "progressive"? And how is an art forever freeze dried in the exact same form it took an entire century ago somehow "progressive"? And what makes you think the author of this blog is somehow "bitter"? Pe |

Great mints. Shitty tin. (anobody, 21 posts) (Dec 17 2006 12:50 GMT) - Yesterday I was at a nearby 7/11 getting my sweet high-fructose carmel colored caffeinated nectar. Near the registrar there was a display of something I never saw before - York MintsI was intrigued so I grabbed a tin. They're shrunk down versions of the little York mini beads coated in a moderately hard white candy shell. Pretty tasty - standard York Peppermint Patty with a better ratio of chocolate to mint filling. They look almost exactly like those little ceramic 'pie weights' that my sister has a jar of in her kitchen that I thought were candies and nearly broke my teeth on. |

Beating Steven Colbert to the punch. (Dec 17 2006 12:49 GMT) - I'm sure some of you have heard by now that Time Magazine has named me "Person of The Year" for 2006.Thank you, Time. Only 10,000 prints will be issued, and as only $50 each, it's quite a deal... |
