Violet, who turned one on December 1, was baptised on Christmas Eve at the United Methodist Christ Church, in Charleston, close to where Garner grew up. According to reports, Violet shared her big day with her cousin Alex who was baptized the same day at the church, at which Garner's parents, sister and brother-in-law are regulars. Pastor Randy Flanagan confirmed the ceremony took place during mass and was witnessed by ordinary members of the congregation.
