Crown Of Thorns (Dec 29 2006 23:53 GMT) - While talking to a friend tonight about the impending Saddam Hussein execution, they pointed out that the other two guys from his trial were also going to be executed. The interesting quote from the conversation was: Hmm, three people executed - one considered a martyr by some - where have I heard that one before.... So that makes the local judge Pontius Pilate, trying to keep the peace among the natives by executing the guy who's pissing everyone off, all in the name of the big bad power way far away. Supporting Member kick (Dec 29 2006 23:49 GMT) - Hi, I just became a supporting member today, as I have elsewhere mentioned. I have already added my ID to my profile and had no trouble getting on the server about 20 minutes after I added my ID when there were 48/50 people on the server. I just tried to join the server again (said 48/50 people), loaded the map, but then got kicked due to excessive team killing, etc. (which is of course the message received when you're not a supporting member). If anyone knows of something I might've done wrong, or something I'm interpreting incorrectly, please reply. |

Instead Verizon customers will be allowed to download a free ringtone from their phone on NYE. Just text "Tone" to the number 2007 and they'll send you instructions on how to get your freebie ringtone. Nice gesture, but you'll need to do more than that if you're trying to make up for those incoming ads. Especially if the above tones are a sample of what we're choosing from. |

When I started with this forum to write better, I didnt have a clue where it would take me. I now feel I know the language a little better and have a basic grasp of its reason for better communication. I took from the language what I could understand and applied it to my personal style of writing. I honor this forum for its knowledge, patience and sharing that knowledge with others like me who wants to improve there writing skills (in this case English). |
