Are Islam and Christianity Equal? (Dec 31 2006 02:32 GMT) - There seems to be a faction of people out there who think that Islam can be defended by attacking Christianity. I’m not interested. I deal in facts, and I deal in evidence, and both prove that Islam is a deadly threat to the West. Christianity is not a threat at all. |

Florocarbon Preference (Dec 31 2006 02:32 GMT) - This may be an old topic, but I thought reading on here somewhere that a polomar knot shouldn't be used with some brands of florocarbon line? Was it Berkely by any chance. It's the easiest knot for me to tie. I developed arthritis bad in first knuckle of my index finger on right hand after breaking it last year. Now very difficult for me to tie especially. |

Douglass Reeman... (Dec 31 2006 02:32 GMT) - If you've not read any of his historical naval fiction, give yourself a treat and do so. Old Fishermen Rule (Dec 31 2006 02:32 GMT) - I was out fishing on one of my favorite lakes here in s/w Michigan yesterday, and had a great time catching nice largemouth bass on a blade bait. I was fishing a channel that had about 10 other people fihing for bluegills, nobody seemed to be catching any fish of size. I go out to the mouth of the main lake and here is this Old dude in his v-bottom getting some nice gills, he was "Ice fishing without the ice" using ice fishing gear, 2lb. line, ice jig and wigglers, point being, watch... |

Killfile solicitation (Dec 31 2006 02:32 GMT) - What's your recommendation? I'm looking to read political and yes-you-did/no-I-didn't type discussions, especially if they are artless, pointless and endless. Don't care for reasoned stuff, so if political I like the threads where all sides have an entrenched view which can't be changed, and everybody throws out plenty of insults and cliches. Not interested in boat BS, unless it has to do with out-of-the-park inflammatory boat names, which is fine. I like action, and this just could be the place... |
