- When I ran into Greg Parker at the Basalt Best Western this morning I asked him, "Where's your daughter?" Michelle Parker was one of the Top 5 Female Skiers at the Powder Mag Video Awards last night, and like several of the honorees over the course of the evening she hadn't actually bothered to show up. Dad Greg hopped up on stage to accept her clear ridgeline-shaped trophy. "I told her she should be there, just to see everyone," Greg told me this morning, "but she said 'Dad, I do enough schmoozing anyway.'" Schmoozing was the order of the night at the venerable Hotel Jerome, where the PVAs were held. |
