"We're expecting him on February 8," Telecommunication Minister Marwan Hamadeh told AFP Wednesday. "Regardless of progress (on resolving the crisis), his presence has become indispensable," he said. Prime Minister Fouad Siniora and other participants in the Paris III conference "have insisted on Moussa's return," Hamadeh added, referring to a January 25 donors' meeting in the French capital which gathered 7.6 billion dollars in aid to help revive Lebanon's ailing economy. |

Stretching the point (Jan 31 2007 18:54 GMT) - ...and so Gracenote slipped out of the noisy party and all her parents' boring friends (especially Carl, the guy who kept looking at her but pretended not to) and walked out to be beach. She was tired of the noise her parents thought was music parents who had once thought "Gracenote" would be a cute name and tired of the beach house and the long, dreary days of sun. It was dark on the beach and cloudy but still much too hot. She took off her t-shirt and tried to remember winter. The beach was deserted ,for once, free of screaming toddlers and creepy old people. |

Paul Boutin reviews Office 2007 (Jan 31 2007 18:52 GMT) - His main complaint is that it's so different that it's frustrating to existing users: The Ribbon mimics the tabbed interfaces of the Firefox and Internet Explorer 7 browsers. It looks cool, but it took me most of five minutes to find, set, and test the Track Changes options my editor expects. As my deadline loomed, I panicked when I couldn't find the option to save in Office 2003 format. It was hiding behind a new jewellike logo in the upper left corner called the Office Button. |
