A blow to the unreality-based community (Jan 31 2007 19:59 GMT) - The word from eBay is that auctions for World of Warcraft virtual items will no longer be permitted, although similarly-intangible Second Life creations will continue to be welcomed. First Hands On: The Zink Bluetooth Camphone Printer (Jan 31 2007 19:59 GMT) - The DEMO launch you can hold in your hand is the Zink cellphone photo printer. Teen Attacks RIAA For 'Collusion' - Santangelo teen's lawyer trying a little bit of everything... (Jan 31 2007 19:58 GMT) - Already $24,000 in debt before the trial even began, mother Patricia Santangelo, 43, was sued for file trading by the RIAA but decided to fight on principle. Her struggle quickly made her an Internet celebrity, and many individuals and groups decided to donate to her legal defense. The case didn't go particularly well for the RIAA, since all they had was an offending IP address, and trying to prove individual guilt with no other supporting evidence has resulted in similar cases being dropped. In this case, the RIAA soldiered on and began investigating Santangelo's children. The industry managed to get Santangelo's daughter and a neighbor to admit to Kazaa use under oath and subsequently filed suit against her son and daughter. |

Well, if you work with wood or find yourself hammering nails into things often, I have another gadget for you. This one not only keeps you safe but prevents you from using the colorful language that often occurs when working with a hammer. The inventor of this intelligent gadget must have bruised his thumb many a times while using the hammer. He or she obviously got tired of this and created a device that will help you keep the hammer on the right target. |
