Deploying printers with GPO (Feb 15 2007 10:59 GMT) - Hi, I'm trying to deploy printers on a machine bases using GPOs. When I try to added a printer using the \servername path, I always get the message 'Addition failed' When I browse for printers I only see those that are NOT shared on the print server - and even adding them generates an error of 'The printer name is invalid' Am I doing something fundamentally wrong here? |

U.S. Government Seeks to Permanently Bar Alleged Fraudulent Tax Return Operation (Feb 15 2007 10:57 GMT) - Sarasota, Florida Business Allegedly Fabricates Deductions to Reduce Tax Liabilities or Increase Refunds for CustomersFebruary 14, 2007 -- WASHINGTON - The United States filed has filed suit seeking to permanently bar Richard E. Almy and his company, REA Associates, Inc., from preparing federal tax returns, the Justice Department announced today. According to the complaint, filed in the Middle District of Florida, Almy and his company prepared tax returns that claimed overstated, duplicated, and fabricated deductions on their clients’ tax returns. An examination by the Internal Revenue Service of 175 tax returns prepared by Almy and his company during 2003 found that all of them required audit adjustments that increased the tax owed. |
