Smug CITY!! (Mar 04 2007 14:51 GMT) - I was at Bellevue Mall today and I happen to chit chat with one of the customers in the watch department and she was making a comment about some other city that she used to live when the sales lady interrupted us by saying "what are you doing here in seattle?" How defensive they get is beyond me!! The customer was talking about New York but in her defensive mode she thought we were talking about this beloved city!! she is so smug and very insecure !!!Typifies the locals' mentality!! |
