- Hi our villa is on oak island cove, as we are on the east side of oak island we are out of sight and sound of the road, we were there in January and it made no difference to us at all,we went around the estate to see if the road was open, as far as we can see the only houses that are affected are those few that face the road on the west side of the estate although a great deal of trees have been planted which hide the road even from these homes.
