Corruption (Mar 22 2007 23:59 GMT) - TPM Muckraker: "Constitutional scholar Tony Snow on ABC this morning: 'The executive branch is under no compulsion to testify to Congress, because Congress in fact doesn't have oversight ability. So what we've said is we're going to reach out to you - we'll give you every communication between the White House, the Justice Department, the Congress, anybody on the outside, any kind of communication that would indicate any kind of activity outside, and at the same time, we'll make available to you any of the officiels you want to talk to ... knowing full well that anything they said is still subject to legal scrutiny, and the members of Congress know that. |

Apollo E-Seminar (Mar 22 2007 23:59 GMT) - Luis Polanco, the senior product manager for Apollo at Adobe commandeered the ship for the luncheon Adobe e-seminar today and it opened some eyes to the folks who attended the meeting. Specifically with the robust nature in which one can develop an application with Flex and have many useful/required APIs to write a cross platform rich application. One of the demos given by Luis was the FineTune desktop. I was behind the 8-ball with FineTune so I took a trip out to their site after t |

Yes there is a cure. [Roark McMaster] (Mar 22 2007 23:59 GMT) - There are many people (I'm not one of them) that add much value to the front page, and there are some that cheapen, and turn this potentially wonderful and engaging place into something of a childish zoo, that would make even a novice investor cringe at the proposition. For those people that that add garbage day in and day out- get a grip- and importantly take the CURE. It will help solve most of your problems. Honest it will. |

projectphp: Vote Yes To Proposition 301: Stop Unoriginal Blog Posts - Blog Post (Cre8asite Blog Posts) (Mar 22 2007 23:57 GMT) - No is forced to read blogs no, but as someone who has invested some of his life's energy into the online space, it saddens me that people are not aiming higher. It is terribly sad that so many bloggers, many of whom SHOULD have something worthwhile to say, instead choose to say nothing of note.I think the continued confusuion that this is elitist is both wildly innacurate and, at the same time, kind of the point. Elitism, wher a group tells another what to do is not somethign I agree with. |

Missing Ze Frankness (Mar 22 2007 23:56 GMT) - I just found out (five days too late, apparently) that The Show with Ze Frank is over. Man, I wasn’t a regular viewer but the news hit me hard. Whenever I happened by, The Show felt like something that had always been there and would always be there. |

Accessibility Conference - Day 2 (Mar 22 2007 23:55 GMT) - Today was a really good day. First off, I got to be a thorn in the side of Bob Regan and Andrew Kirkpatrick of Adobe as they presented on Flash Accessibility. I really want to believe Flash is accessible, really I do and I go to these presentations in the hope that I see stuff that will make me believe. Inevitably I leave disappointed. Don't get me wrong, Flash is making leaps and bounds in the accessibility arena. |
