- Personne, aucune étude sérieuse n'a pu pour l'instant mesurer l'impact réel de l'internet dans les batailles électorales. Tout ce que l'on sait, c'est qu'en France tout comme aux Etats-Unis les états-majors politiques prennent ce nouveau champ de communication, incontrôlé et incontrôlable, très au sérieux et lui dédient des bataillons d'experts avec autant d'attaquants que de défenseurs. L'étrange dans l'affaire est de constater que les candidates restent les principales victimes de cette nouvelle forme de propagande politique par écran d'ordinateur interposé. En France, on a encore en mémoire la vidéo clandestine qui montrait Ségolène Royal lors d'une réunion restreinte critiquant les enseignants et la tempête qu'elle avait soulevée, très opportunément, pendant les primaires socialistes. Aujourd'hui, c'est Hillary Clinton qui fait les frais des YouTube et autre DailyMotion. |
