NotePager 32 & NotePager Pro Support - RE: Internet vs Dial Up (Apr 12 2007 01:09 GMT) - Author: OzCom Posted: Wed Apr 11, 2007 7:41 pm (GMT 0) In an attempt to simplify - SNPP and WCTP can be looked at as sort of an internet application of TAP (Think of it as TAP withoug the modem connection). Your problem is that there is no universal protocol accepted by ALL carriers - each carrier chooses what protocol or protocols to support. |

We have installed Notepager Pro's "Big Brother" (PageGate) - in numerous EMA's and Public Safety dispatch centers around the country. |

NotePager 32 & NotePager Pro Support - RE: Internet vs Dial Up (Apr 12 2007 01:09 GMT) - Author: Stark EMA Posted: Wed Apr 11, 2007 6:52 pm (GMT 0) I can choose some to be Internet and others to be dial up, or tmp, in the same group correct? Since these are two different methods, one using the modem, and the other my network card, can they also both operate at the same time? |
