NASCAR Tire Race Cooler for fans (May 31 2007 07:35 GMT) - If you're a big fan of NASCAR, chances are you love sitting in front of the telly with an ice cold can of beer in one hand. Getting up from your favorite lounge chair and making that long trip to the refrigerator is definitely a chore for any NASCAR couch potato, which is why the NASCAR Tire Race Cooler is a no-brainer home appliance. Each of these coolers were hand made using real NASCAR Nextel Cup, Craftsman Truck, & Busch Series Tires, making them an instant collector's item. You'll have to shovel up a decent amount of money to own one though, as the NASCAR Tire Race Cooler retails for $319. |

Concept House-Off Switch (May 31 2007 07:34 GMT) - Ever left the home only to have that nagging feeling that you did not turn off all the switches? The House-Off Switch concept, should it be realized, would definitely put to rest all these fears as it functions as the central switch for the entire home. Unfortunately, I seriously doubt this idea will take off since you will need certain appliances to keep running even when you're out of the home, such as security cameras, the all important refrigerator, and even garden lamps that turn on automatically in the evening. Apparently designer Jack Godfrey Wood shares the same sentiment as me, and has included a more expensive version of the same concept by making an allowance for appliances plugged into 'safe' sockets that won't be affected by the House-Off Switch's status. |
