Brad Asks But They Don?t Listen (Aug 25 2007 23:58 GMT) - Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are currently in NYC. Earlier in the day Brad, very politely, asked the paps to give them some distance while they were with the kids. Bioshock DRM crock (Aug 25 2007 23:58 GMT) - The hot new PC game "Bioshock" installs a copy protection root kit called "SecuROM" which might open security holes and which interferes with legitimate programs. The DRM on Bioshock turns out to be draconian, and there's an online riot brewing among early purchasers who have already been screwed by it. |

Using virtual reality to induce out-of-body experience (Aug 25 2007 23:58 GMT) - Filed under: Misc. Gadgets Yeah, we've seen bizarre apparatuses that bring about otherworldly feelings, but new studies have reportedly been able to induce out-of-body experiences with just a set of "virtual reality goggles, a camera, and a stick." Apparently, the "research reveals that the sense of having a body, of being in a bodily self, is actually constructed from multiple sensory streams," and when the newfangled system forces individuals to peer at "an illusory image of themselves" while the stick prods them "in a certain way," the guinea pigs said they felt as if they had been removed from their bodies. Of course, it seems the real purpose here circles more around the science of the brain rather than hashing out a DIY guide to accomplish this on your own, and no, so far as we can tell, it (unfortunately) does not play Doom. |

Don't know where to post but why am I banned (Aug 25 2007 23:54 GMT) - OK pure and simple I followed the rules to your server I like the play in your server so it's a good idea to not break the rules. So here I am playing on your server suddenly I"m kicked by Admin Decision and I'm banned from re-entering. Since I hate cheaters I don't have any programs that would trigger this, and I don't exploit. Seeing I was semi-afk for 3 minutes also doesn't seem like a great reason to have banned me. Oh and before the comment is made I was in a squad. |

CherryPAIN: Maraschino Cherry (Aug 25 2007 23:54 GMT) - It is an evil thing to love one mind and have a crush on another.Sure it is not something I think would not happen, but in finding something that feels like home and seems as though I have never had home till I came to live here with alei, is a bit of a frightening experience. I sort of crush on a large amount of those sexy sultry vixens that seem to float around b.com. The way they put wrds into flowing speak or a sultry time of fun to be had by all. |

Manners Huh (Aug 25 2007 23:49 GMT) - What gives with the "out of the blue" server re-sets. I find it annoying that I can be working through a map then without any warning the server just gets re-set. This of course means we have to start al over again and at Private rank too. Is there somewhere these times for re-sets are shown or is it just done by an admin without any thought for those playing. What's difficult for an admin to just prompt those playing or even better agree a joint suitable time for this to be done. |

China In London (Aug 25 2007 23:47 GMT) - Chinese to be taught in London In the 1960's people used to talk about the Iron Curtain. HID Fog Mod (Aug 25 2007 23:46 GMT) - What's up guys, since i had a few sets of HID components lying around from previous retros, i figured i would see if i could use what i had to upgrade my fogs to HID. I attempted to dremmel down a D2S bulb to fit in the 9006 housing, but then decided to get a set off ebay that already had the 9006 "clip/twist" attached to the D2S bulb ($70 shipped for the pair) so i didn't have to deal with that headache. From there i wired up a harness consisting of wire, a relay, and fuse so that the amp draw during startup didn't fry my OEM wiring. Mounted to the ballasts under the fogs, plugged everything in and good to go. On to the pics: |
