Problem booting up laptop running Vista when overseas (Dec 13 2007 21:59 GMT) - I am using Sony Vaio SZ48 purchased in Singapore and it is running Vista Business. I have never encounter any problem booting up the laptop in Singapore. But when I use my laptop in New Zealand, quite frequently it will not boot up and need to use the power button to shut down and reboot. And for no reason, it will boot up after may 5 to 6 tries using the power button on the laptop. But sometimes it just will not boot up even after trying half a day or more. |

Removing an Enterprise CA from the domain? (Dec 13 2007 21:58 GMT) - I have an enterprise CA (non-DC) in the domain, which was previously a subordinate of the main CA on a now dead server called (SERVERDC)... So its chain was something like ServerDC/ENTCA Now that serverDC is gone, this is a problem, so i've installed a new Enterprise main CA on the new DC server called ServerDCB. So its an all in one solution for our single domain. Now i need to figure out what needs to be done to remove the ENTCA from that server? (I've already removed all active directory objects associated with ServerDC).. |
