Report setup (Dec 13 2007 21:51 GMT) - We have several members living at each address, but they move around independantly of each other. I have been asked to create one report (order form) per member address that would contain the names of everyone in the household on a single form. I currently have a customer address table based on each member as a record. I could simply concatenate, but I need the names to appear in a vertical row with blank lines next to the name so they can order directories. Before I work with this any further I thought it would be best if I sought your advice regarding setup. |

Color Changing Shower Heads - coolest-gadgets.com (Dec 13 2007 21:50 GMT) - Every once in a while, someone comes up with some gadget for the bathroom that is actually useful. Say, for example, the Illuminated Shower Head from KZLIDEA. As you can see, your water is normal if above 32 degrees Centigrade. It will go blue if in the 33-41 degree range, purple for 42-45 C, then the appropriate red for 45 C. I think it is handy to have something that tells me the temperature, because I get tired of playing with those darn knobs. |

Blik RadioStation: DAB, Wi-Fi, and FM Radio All-in-One [Home Entertainment] - gizmodo.com (Dec 13 2007 21:50 GMT) - Revo, the company behind the Blik RadioStation claims that their new device is the first to combine DAB functionality, Wi-Fi internet radio and traditional FM radio in a single unit. It also offers a digital alarm clock function and the option to play your iPod tunes through the speaker. Apparently, the internet radio alone will provide access to over 9,000 channels, so if you get DAB signals it may be of some interest. Not sure about the look though —It reminds me of something. |

Slew of retailers to carry TV converter boxes; coupon requests open in 2008 - engadget.com (Dec 13 2007 21:50 GMT) - Filed under: Home EntertainmentYeah, we pretty much expected every big box retailer known to man to carry these things, but just in case you were worried about locating a TV converter box in preparation for the upcoming cutover, here's some comforting news. Wal-Mart, Best Buy, Circuit City, Kmart, RadioShack, Target, Sears and Sam's Club are all on the list to carry equipment necessary for analog TV owners to receive OTA programming after February 2009, and just in case one of the aforementioned giants aren't anywhere near you, around 100 more smaller retailers have been certified to stock 'em. Also of note, you can start the new year off right by reminding your great grandparents (or other family members, too) that they can go on and apply... |

MVS Virtual Cable prototype - ubergizmo.com (Dec 13 2007 21:50 GMT) - The MVS Virtual Cable prototype could prove to be the future of the heads-up navigation display, working in conjunction with a car navigation system that projects your route. Turns and curves in the road are projected as a cable in this idea from New Jersey inventor Tom Zamojdo. The entire system users a small laser that works through a series of mirrors and lenses to project the path onto the windshield, although the driver will probably think it looks as though it is hovering above the road. Rhapsody users experiencing login issues? - engadget.com (Dec 13 2007 21:50 GMT) - Filed under: Portable AudioThough not what we'd deem "common," outages extending beyond a few hours have been known to happen to the services we love so dearly, and it seems that some Rhapsody users have become the latest to fall victim to an inexplicable lapse in service. Over at the Real forums, a number of customers have been unable to sign into their accounts for up to two days, and no amount of chicanery has solved the quandary. To make matters even more frightening, many are getting a message that their account simply is nowhere to be found, and customer service doesn't seem to be getting anyone very far. Also curious is the fact that new accounts (as in, ones created while current customers are unable to login) seem to be working jus... |
