- I have an odd one for the gurus - Microsoft Word 97 on an XP Home SP2 system, with Excel 2003 installed. Open a document that uses Word, or open MS-Word and the color depth goes to 8bit (256 colors) - then back when Word closes. I have tried several different video drivers, removed and re-installed Word97, then tried Word 2000 for a bit - all the same results. Tried replacing the NORMAL.DOT file just in case it was the cause. |
